Sinitta said on her Twitter that the stage is even bigger this year.

Yeah but then Yvie Burnett ( Voice coach) posted this on twitter. From what you see ( behind her feet Laughing ) it looks pretty much similar. Might be some changes you cant see though, as it isn't obvioulsy the best photo. I didn't expect that major changes though - there've only had it for 1 series - they normally like to get at least 2 series use out of it.

That's a nasty business. Her mum is a benefits cheat, so her visa got blocked and they have to leave. Apparently Gamu counts as a dependant. Er, how? She's 18, an adult. Surely she can get her own visa now, and thus avoid deportation. Not much can be done for her family though.

Gamu is a dependent by virtue of the fact that she's not allowed to work here and therefore depends on her 'sponsor' for financial support. A dependent can be 18 or 80, partner or child.

Gamu will have to return to Zimbabwe and apply to study in the UK from there.

Our non-European immigration system is now very similar to Australia and Canada in that you have to have a degree or be setting up a business in order to come and live here. Otherwise it's student visa, dependency or marriage.

This Big Twist im not saying the wildcard is not going to happen but everytime its mentioned theres a picture of a man (well looks like a man) standing in the distance which we can't see but I cant figure out who it is it looked a bit like Simon or could It be a new judge to mentor the wildcards?.

So all 4 wildcards straight into the top 16 - a bit pointless really, would be much more interesting to have just one through to give one judge an advantage. Also rather stupid considering the biggest criticism of Strictly was too many contestants, though at least it's still over 10 weeks rather than 14. It'll probably suffer in a similar way to Big Brother did though when it had too many contestants!

That's what I thought - are they really wildcards if there just being brought back after being told they weren't through at Judges Houses. Wildcard should be voted in by the public shouldn't they?

Also it was true in the end that the contestansts songs can be downloaded by itunes. Wonder if there'll be eligible to chart.

Edit: Itunes says they wont be eligible to chart to protect the inegrity of the competition.

Definitely the right wildcard choices, in my opinion. Treyc was sensational. Imagine if it was Gamu, they'd have had her trilling off some whimsical plinky-plonky Lilly Allen nursery rhyme.

Music's moving on from Gamu's style, that's all.

Also loved Wagner, Diva Fever, and Mary Byrne.

Well that was the most surreal two and a half hours of TV I've ever seen.

Great show tonight - extremes of talent and "entertainment", but fantastic none the less, even if it did go on for about 36 hours.

I guess the double elimination will work similarly to one they did in previous years with the act with the least votes leaving automatically then the next two in the showdown. I'd say FYD and Belle Ammie could both go for Simon, though Katie, possibly Nicola and certainly Wagner and Julian will be at risk too. Those early on could be overlooked too - I think Matt will probably have done enough to get through, but Rachel's brilliant performance was soon overshadowed by some outstanding female performances later.

I agree.

Great show tonight.

So no new set - Sinitta talking rubish again!

Plus even the 2 & 1/2 hours didn't seem to drag as much as expected!

Also is it just me or were there less cheesey songs tonight and more contemparary sons tonight. A massive improvement!
