To be honest with the longest ever show I was expecting something like a star guest performance or something big or new but what is the point of bringing back four people who didn’t make It through and if this is the case then what do they do if there’s a tie? . And over Gambo think I thought she was crap and I’m surprised Danni has not been branded as racist by these stupid tabloids for not putting one of the black contestants through. I think the only two mistakes were not putting Paige and purely because I can see people voting for them Diva Fever .

Also has anyone noticed the way Louis and Simon have never had the girls?

Is Cheryl Cole confirmed to be 'singing' her new single on the first live show? I know this was reported a while ago but not much has been said about the live shows so far..

1 - You say you expected it to be " something big or new" I'd say a brand new twist i.e never happened before of "wildcards" is NEW - a bit more exciting than just any other performance - so yourve contridicted yourslef there.
2 - how could they have a tie?? that makes no sense? A tie of what? It's either going to be a public vote ( so you cnat have a tie) or going straight through - the jusges wont vote I shouldn't think !
3 - It's Gamu - not Gambo
4 - Diva Fever had to be one of the worst at judges houses - trust you to pick them!

Strictly speaking, that was when there were only 3 categories and 16-24's included boys and girls.

Why is Gamu attracting so much attention? She's on the front page of some the tabloids tomorrow. I didn't think she was that great.

And flashback to the first audition show where all the papers were splashing her across the front page as part of the autotune debacle, suggesting she wasn't actually as good as we were led to believe.

These people - both press and the usual OFCOM complainers - just want to kill of TV completely. The format of The X Factor is what it is and every year there is a shock or two with who is - and who isn't - in the final 12. The ironic thing too is quite often the questionable choice ends up being the judges top act.

The people who wasted Ofcom's time over this are idiots, sure, but newspapers adore X Factor as it shifts copies.

To suggest what you just did makes you as reactionary as them - and if I may say, it makes you sound equally daft.

This Gamu nonsense is taken to a new level this morning .....

X Factor contestant Gamu faces deportation

An X Factor contestant who narrowly missed out on a place for the live finals of the show is facing deportation from the UK.

Gamu Nhengu, who is originally from Zimbabwe, was controversially eliminated from the ITV show on Sunday.

This wildcard business is putting an already disreputable programme, into chaos as well.

That's a nasty business. Her mum is a benefits cheat, so her visa got blocked and they have to leave. Apparently Gamu counts as a dependant. Er, how? She's 18, an adult. Surely she can get her own visa now, and thus avoid deportation. Not much can be done for her family though.
