That's exactly the twist I've been suggesting for a couple of years. Think though it would have been better to reveal the four candidates tonight and get a week of voting/publicity out of them.

Amazing seeing people on forums and Twitter claiming Dannii is 'racist' for not choosing Paije to go through!
He is good but IMO, I cant see him as a recording artist.

Also. Cheryl not choosing Gamu... WHAT?!

Gamu is defo a what, but IMO the judges got it right when they turned Paije down the first time, and he wasn't much better when he returned for a second audition.

So who do you think the wildcards will be? Has to be Gamu for the girls, and I'd say Julie for the Overs. Probably The Reason for the groups, though not sure for the boys. I'd imagine Gamu is certain to win any vote anyway.

Suggestion from most entertainment journalists is that 4 wildcards, 1 for each category, have already been chosen. There is no 5th judge.

This would mean that 11 weeks, there must be at least 3 double kick offs

The judges turn up unannounced at the wildcards' homes to invite them back, apparently.

So did the leaked list of finalists match the eventual outcome ?

I was just looking at that - as I was thinking the same thing.

This is the leaked list :

It looks right I think - so Louis Walsh saying "the list in wrong" on Lorraine on Friday was obvioulsy just trying to not ruin the outcome.

The judges houses episode on Sunday averaged 14.1m viewers, peaking at 16.2m.

Highest ever for a judges houses episode I believe.

The viewing figures have been exceptional all series. With special guests and all that, I think that each live show will average about 16m!! The episode where Britney Spears was on was the first mamouth audience after a final, so I can imagine they will hope to avergage something along those lines. Imagine if they had her on this year, surely they would get around 20m!

Looks like Diva Fever could be back?

Any truth in the rumour that all four acts are going to form essentially a supergroup to be mentored by Nicole? Presumably that would be best, if only one act was chosen, how would they be chosen?

If true, I reckon Diva Fever, Gamu Nhengu, Paije Robinson and perhaps Wagner Fiuza-Carrilh...could work

Well I keep up with the ratings a lot too - most people thought that this year would struggle to match lasts years fantastic figures. If anything just about match them at most. But the ratings for the pre - live shows are already up quite a bit.

I think 16m average is pushing it a bit though - its already so high that it cant go that much higher on average - especially with the 2 & 1/2 hour show nex week. 16 + m peak is really likely though . Had 16.2m peak this week alone I think.
