Can I just say (i'm saying it anyway), I think the editing has been more attrocious this year than it has before. Anyone else noticed that? Is this just due to Cheryl's absence? autotune issues?

Interesting though to see how the same audition is edited differently for ITV1 and ITV2. The lifeguard shown tonight got an absolute battering from Simon Cowell in the ITV1 show, but last night on ITV2 although he wasn't a fan, Simon's comments came across much more positive, basically saying you'll never be a singer but heck, you save lives.

I find that things are drawn out a lot more. There's also a lot more of the same replies coming from the judges to various auditions. I know a lot isn't noticed by the general public but it just seems worse than normal.

So it's Danni - Boys, Cheryl - Girls, Louis - Over 28's, Simon - Groups.

Set up for Cheryl to win again then.

Louis seriously does get a raw deal on this show.

I'm sure Louis is adequately financially compensated for his raw deal.

Annoying it's always Louis or Simon with the groups (and usually the other with the overs). The groups seemed destined for Cheryl this year (though we probably said that last year too) - but I suspect her malaria outbreak got her out of that. And they were never going to fly them over to Dannii in Aus and fork out for 40 airfares rather than 8.

Would be good though now for it just to be done randomly. The show and the judges are strong enough to take any outcome, and now they're all more than established in their role there isn't really any need to assign them by producers.

anyone else feel the whole Over's age adjustment debacle is going to majorly back fire. Looking at the final line up for judges houses on Xtra Factor it now appears that Boys/Girls categories are over-run with talent, whilst the Louis is going to struggle to find another two alongside Mary for the live shows?

I also don't see how Liam Payne (see below) was put into the group, when he was good enough to be solo.

And yet Tom Richards ( below) was not even that good and made it though as a solo artist. At most he should have been put into the group an the Liam kid solo.

I expect one, if not both of the "made" group will go through to the live shows.

Lastly anyone thing Bootcamp was a bit rough around te edges this year. Whilst I like the big slightly different LED screen, the rest was quite shabby. No proper desk ( even though they have one!) and last year hey had the touch screen thing pick the contestants and this year ther back to the polaroids!
