Hardly surprising, though. It's a just a great shame Sharon couldn't have tried to get along with her...

They could alternatively shun Dannii into a background position and call her "assistant choreographer" and let Sharon come back on the panel Laughing

No doubt, Dannii will decide to quit and then, Sharon will return to replace her. All been done before! Rolling Eyes

Another rumour is that Osbourne will not attend the auditions but will be back for the live shows.

Talking of the X Factor, rumours this week over disagreements over the Sunday results show - Cowell wants it live, ITV want to record it and save on studio costs each week. Hopefully then the outcome is that they remain on Saturday nights.

I certainly hope so, it would be stupid to copy Strictly by introducing a Sunday results show. 'If it ain't broke, why fix it' springs to mind.

No, there isn't a US version, however they do this during the week on American Idol.

I hope the results show remains on a Saturday as well. There is nothing stopping them spreading the audition/boot camp/judges homes shows over both Sat/Sun but the live shows should be Saturday IMO.

US shows have too though due to the time differences - they can't get a results show out in the same night before the programmes has aired across the entire country.

The X Factor would only be doing it for the sake of it really, and IMO it makes sense to move something else from Saturday nights into the Sunday slot.

The only real advantage is that the performance shows could air a bit later on Saturdays and probably avoid a clash with Strictly - but the results show would then probably clash on the Sunday anyway.

I bet Sharon loves getting the publicity herself out of this whether she has quit or not. She'll probably be on the front page of some tacky woman's mag next week... "SHARON OSBOURNE: HOW I WAS BULLIED BY COWELL" etc etc. yawn yawn. Rolling Eyes

I think its a bit of a shame to be honest but i think thereal problems started when they decided to being in a fourth judge in the first place. I don't think it would have mattered who they brought in, i think it upsets the dynamic of sharon simon and louis. I hope she goes back, its not going to be the same without her.
