It was recorded a couple of weeks ago when Mariah Carey appeared. Apparently she was booked to do Johnathan Ross and so was at something of a loose end.
Great tune though. I actually bought it on the strength of her performance.
Well even if she was asked a question to which she responded something like "I think they all did great, its so hard to get up here week after week and perform live" or just something like that.
I'm also shocked at how the judges wardrobe and hair is planned weeks in advance if that was in week 5
Maybe it was just shots of them looking at nothing... I wouldn't be surprised.

I hope to God Diana doesn't do Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend, that is a car crash waiting to happen otherwise. She'll do well with White Flag but people will see it as her doing the same thing. Interesting choices for JLS. Why is Louis intent on morphing them into Westlife mark 2? Umbrella should be good though.

Would have been a shock a few weeks ago, but Diana was definately the right act to go tonight - that week off really cost her the early momentum she'd built up.
Alexandra should win this by a clear margin, with probably Eoghan second and JLS third.
I would say JLS have probably suffered the most from the themed weeks and if they'd been allowed to play to their strengths would probably be going into the final in a much stronger position - but as it is they just risk being moulded into Boyzone Mk III by Louis.

JLS don't stand a chance if you ask me. It's between Alex and Eoghan. Eoghan might snatch it because of the cute factor but Alex deserves to win. JLS have been in the bottom two and nobody who has been in the bottom two has ever won it, and I don't expect that to change this year.

I agree, I dont think JLS will win and id be amazed if they did. I dont really see the big deal about them anyway - IMO Eton Road from 2 years ago were a far better boyband.
I really hope Alex wins.
