For me she absolutely ruined Snow Patrols best song, with her irritating voice and the choir, it sounded like any rubbish winners song. Also she did it a lot better in the Live Lounge, probably because Cowell hadn't been in charge of it.

I thought she was supposed to be singing her new song "Forgive Me" or have they forgotten about it now it might not make the Top 10.

Strange seeing as it was No. 5 last week? Unless you mean not top 10 for a second week. I thought her performance of Run was amazing - made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Glad Daniel and his wife went last night - twas long overdue. Was disappointed with Diana but have to remember she has had laryngitis - it aint gonna go away completely in just one week. Expect she'll be back on top form next week!

How people can fault Leona's performance last night is beyond me. I'm not usually a fan of Leona's music but I loved that cover, it was very emotive and it deserves to get to number 1.

So back to screechy, whiny, throaty nasal performances.

Oh wait.

Just as a thought - is there no West End Week this year? I think this lot could be very easily sorted out by a few musical numbers...

Ruth - No One But You (from 'We Will Rock You')
Rachel - When You're Good To Mama (from 'Chicago')
Alexandra - On My Own (from 'Les Miserables')
Eggnog - I couldn't think of one for him, quite possibly something Oliver-ish
JLS - There Is Nothing Like A Dame (from 'South Pathetic')
Diana Vickahs - Tell Me It's Not True (from 'Blood Brothers')

I know tonights Take That performance was pre-recorded, but is it true that the rest of the show was partly recorded yesterday and earlier today? Is any of it actually live?

Considering this weeks show was longer than last weeks I was expecting two performances from each act tonight - but a whole lot of padding instead.

I think we're at the point now where it's pretty much even - the average have improved slightly, while those who were outstanding in the beginning aren't quite as outstanding now, so really anyone could win it now.

I think though JLS need to go tonight - thanks to Louis Walsh they're getting blander and blander with each passing week - it won't be long until the stools come out!

what a weird show tonight, what with Danni too upset to introduce her own act, dodgy camera work like no other and the show ending nearly 10 minutes earlier than scheduled ( i guess this was what Simon was referring to when he mentioned the unpredictability of live shows sometimes.)
Now Same Difference are back and miming to their new single; thought they could at least have sung live as that is the aim of the show.

Interesting to hear that Take That was pre recorded, i wonder if this threw the pace off tonight?

I met Rhydian the other day - lovely chap - such a travesty he lost against Leon last year.

Same Difference do have a sort of manic, too many E numbers, look in their eyes.
They need to be kept away from small children and animals.

What a farce, how the hell was Diana good?! She completely ruined the song, and to top it all off the judges all gave her the thumbs up! Seriously they need their ears testing.
