Shayne's performance was fantastic tonight, Summer of '69 is quite a tough song to do.

Sorry if I have dragged up an old thread...

I disagree - I think Simon was right in that his voice is too nicey-nicey for a rock song like that.

Is Sharon drunk or what?! Something's going on!

I don't know, but she's looking more like a younger Anna Ford with her new hair style.

The X Factor is absolutely abysmal this year. I cannot think of any of the people in it this year who I would happily buy a record of or want to hear a song of.

Don't think I'll be watching it any more this year.

I liked Shayne's song tonight but I think he is getting a bit too cocky, he wouldnt listen when Simon was making his comments.

Sharon does seem a bit odd tonight, love the hair though.

Journey South were awful and I can't say I enjoyed Conway Sisters that much either. Mad As for Chico.... Evil or Very Mad

I quite liked Andy, but I'm not sure if it's just because of his story. I also keep thinking Philip is very like Connor from Neighbours. Plus, I think he's hanging on really - not a winner.

As for Shayne. Well, he's a p*ss poor Justin Timberlake. Seems that's how they're trying to portray him. Think he might go far simply because of who votes in these things - just like Anthony in Big Brother.

Edited due to poor spelling earlier.

I agree, you've hit the nail on the head there.

Andy was very good. As far as i'm concerned, he's the true 'talented' winner. Chico is a complete disgrace! Can't even keep his words together and slurs...hope he goes in the vote coming up now.

When are we gonna get rid of Chico? He does my head in!
Simon Cowell is mad for choosing Phillip to go.

I think Simon made the right decision tonight , both acts were appalling and neither should have been put through to the finals but Chico's song was better so im kind of glad that he stayed over Phillip.

Shayne really annoyed me tonight though, he has become a bit full of himself and Sharon is only encouraging him. I didnt vote for Shayne tonight like I did last week, I voted for the Conway's, a tactical vote to keep them out of the bottom 2.

Simon made a good decision in terms of entertainment value and to keep the viewers watching.
