Notice next week the results show is down to 30 minutes, not 45mins like last year!
I hope they keep the judges vote this year - though often a farce with judges naturally voting to keep their own act, it makes great TV and gives the show a bit of a twist. I think axing it would be a bit of a cop out really!

I think they are keeping it. In the ITV TV Guide, for the description it says the two acts with the least votes must perform one last time before the judges make their decision.
Saw the new studio on Xtra Factor last night - it's a much bigger stahe but IMO didn't look anything special. I think some of the acts could get a little lost on it too!
Was The X Factor at the Wembley studios on its last run?
Think The X Factor came from Fountain Studios at Wembley last time. When they open the door between their two studios (which takes at least half-an-hour I believe, and the motors that do it are usually used on war-ships to rotate gun turrets!) the resulting space is the largest TV studio in Europe. TC1 at TV Centre is the largest SINGLE TV studio in Europe I believe - as it is bigger than either of the individual Fountain studios, or the largest studio at LWT/London Studios.
No huge surprises with tonights show, except that the Noleen sisters, sorry Conway sisters, weren't in the bottom two.
It came down to Addictiv Ladies (who performed first) and Chico (performed third), with Louis getting the casting vote and sending home Simons act! And though Chico can't sing, his presence next week would be missed far more than the Addictiv Ladies (though their lead singer couldn't sing either!)!
Not overly keen on the new stage - it's just another TV set, while last year's felt a bit different! Liked the blue X Factor logo they used in some scenes though - much better than the red!
Well at least the voters have some sense, as the bottom 2 tonight were the worst out of the final 12. However thanks to Louis Walsh (I really hate that man) we now have to put up with Chico again next week who was a million times worst than Addictiv Ladies. IMO Chico shouldnt even have got through to the Boot Camp stage let alone the live shows.
My top 5 are (in this order;)
Shayne
Journey South
Brenda

PS I love Sharon's new hair. I think she looks fab!
Disagree with you about Sharron's hair - thought it looked awful, though she did look younger in a California plastic surgery type of way!
As for Chico - how he got through the first audtion I don't know, he truly was awful! He got through to the live shows though based on his performance rather than singing, but looking at Sharron tonight she seemed embarrassed to be associated with him! He'll stick around for a couple of weeks though until the non-entities have all gone - or Simon gets the casting vote!
A few comments on the show. I've mentioned the stage, but also I didn't like the theme they used to introduce each contestant - they have a great theme themselves, use it!
And as with last year, alot of acts performed bad songs, and credit to Simon for admitting it (he did look like though he really didn't want to be there!).
On the whole I think The X Factor is a far better format than Pop Idol, but one thing I liked about Pop Idol was the structure of having a theme to each week.

Oh, I thought I could remember a few themed nights last year. Probably wrong, though.
