Tough choice for Sharon tonight...
Get rid of the band that should have gone last week OR Get rid of one of Louis acts after last week.
I notice that Sharon was unable to give a proper reason for her decision, and kept Kate waiting when she was asking for a decision. Prehaps she was realising how Louis felt last week when he was making his decision?

My thoughts exactly. I really hope Shayne doesnt win though, it will be so predictable if he does. My fave act is Journey South, they did well tonight I thought and could be dark horses in this competition. And the younger of the 2 is gorgeous (I know thats got nothing to do with the contest though

I said about Nicholas singing flat weeks ago, I'm glad it was finally mentioned by both Simon & Sharon. Completely regardless of the feud between her and Louis, it was definitely the right choice. I don't know why she didn't repeat her comments about Nicholas when Kate asked her why she sent him off - BECAUSE HE SINGS FLAT! She said that again in the Xtra factor (with Ben Sheppard). Even Louis was uncharacteristicly objective about it, saying he thought Nicholas wasn't quite ready for it yet but has potential.
The Conway's days are numbered surely. They sung pretty well I thought but I reckon they just don't have what it takes (the X factor!!).
Shayne impresses me more each week - he's one of the few who has tackled a range of styles and done a good job of them all; he's certainly the only one of the kids who deserves to still be there.
Louis was right about it being a rather predictable choice for Journey South, but to be fair they were very good.
Final predictions anyone?! Shayne & Andy? Maybe Chico?

I think the Conways will go next week. I think Chico's days are numbered as well? I cant believe he has been kept in this far.
I dont care who wins now as long as it isnt Shayne, I cant stand him.

I may have agreed with you a few weeks ago but he's won over the judges and the public it would seem, at least for the moment. Ok so he's not a great singer, but he's not a bad singer (a la Nicholas) and he is a great entertainer. Wouldn't surprise me if he was one of the winners of this series (in the broad sense, if not the literal sense).

Well bugger me.
Yep, it's on most tabloid front pages tomorrow. He's walked out because of Simon and Sharon bullying him, and because he feels constantly humiliated.
Will be interesting to see what happens here. The cynic in me thinks it might all have blown over by Saturday but let's see shall we.

Is it too much to hope that the gods of television will strike down on this monstronsity and finaly elevate Brittish television to an international standard that doesn't require reality tv as a crutch?
Yes, this is all a stunt more likely than not and it'll be all over by staurday.
Sad that I can't say the same thing for X-factor itself.
