Surprisingly, Sharon isn't shouting at Louis in the interview. Just keep an eye on the papers tomorrow!

FIX!!!

How the hell could Louis keep the Conway Sisters in when Maria is a far better singer! I like the Conways but they were the worst of the 2 acts in the bottom 2.

Also how the hell did Chico and Nicholas escape the bottom 2?

On the ITV2 show Sharon has refused to appear in the interview with Ben.

EDIT: Sharon has just come in

LOL!

This makes me laugh!!

Do any of you people actually VOTE?

Maria was in the bottom 2 because she got the LEAST VOTES by the public.

If the show is truly about finding the best talent, I wonder if any judge is ever going to vote against one of their own acts.

Simon has previously heaped much critical acclaim onto Maria, whilst pouring scourn on the abilites of his own act The Conway Sisters. There is no way he would of truly thought the Conways were better than Maria, he should have had the courage to have voted out his own act.

I don't have a problem with Sharon losing an act, I just think it was the wrong one. Should have been Chico.

Anyway, more importantly, did anyone here what Cowell said in regards to Shayne on the show...

"You have potential to be the greatest recording artist of the 21st century"

Now, if he was talking about Justin Timberlake I could see a point (not that I like him either!).

In my opinion, I think Shayne has as much chance of becoming the greatest recording artist as I have flying to the moon tomorrow. Rolling Eyes

I agree, if it had to be 1 of Sharon's acts it should have been Chico. However the judges are always going to save their own acts when it comes down to the final vote (unless they have to choose between 2 of their own acts and even then some refuse to vote like Sharon did last year) If I was in their position I would as well, even if they were crap, because at the end of the day the judges all want one of their own acts to win.

Was I the only one to hear Sharon in the first of tonight's shows respond to Simon's comments about Brenda with: "that really p*sses me off"

An absolute disgrace - there should've been more swearing.

I can't believe anyone is voting for Chico and Nicholas, neither of them are in tune. I do think the contestants this year are a lot better than last year, but I think the Conway Sisters belong in last year's competition and not this one. They're too weak, and being told that we've not seen their best isn't really good enough. Whether you like him or not, Shayne looks like the winner.

Simon said on the Xtra Factor that from now on he'd vote out an act from his own group if he thought they weren't as good as the other act. Lets say Simon is genuinely thinking of the acts from now on, instead of just his own group winning. Unless someone like Shayne was in the bottom two, I seriously doubt he would vote out his own act. Why vote out one of your two remaining acts just to keep someone else in that probably wouldn't get to the final anyway? He would only vote out the Conway Sisters if they were in the bottom two with the likes of Shayne, Andy, or Journey South.

I think Simon is in a unique position. All the judges know that if you give an act the wrong song, they're more likely to be in the bottom two. Simon could (and I know this is unlikely, because it would show a lack of confidence in Journey South), he could give his two acts really crappy songs, they'd end up in the bottom two and he'd have the chance to save the other acts, including Journey South, for an extra week by getting rid of his weaker act - the Conways.

I'm thinking way too much into this.

When Nicholas was saved, Louis said - very clearly - "f ucking hell!". I laughed. Laughing

Simon Cowell is turning his back on one of his own X Factor acts, The Conway Sisters.

The judge became tired of the group's behaviour after they allegedly threatened to quit the show following a row over song choices.

"Simon and his team think The Conways are a nightmare," a source told the Sunday Mirror. "Their performances have been a disappointment - but the girls blame everyone else but themselves.

"Publicly he'll continue to give them his support. But privately, he has had enough."

Louis saves The Top Shop Corrs over Maria because they're Irish..it's an outrage.

Afew Weeks earlier Sharron saves Chennai over Philip - and by her own admission! - simply because she's a woman...and nobody bats an eye lid Rolling Eyes

I do love this programme - hopefully, you're now all sufficiently outraged to be talking about the decision for much of the week, and the tabloids will inevitably be foaming at the mouth on Monday, have Sharon's response Tuesday, Louis response Wednesday, exclusive with Maria Thursday... Sharon might even threaten to walk off the show - or do it live next week - giving ITV a 'primetime dilemma' even the broadsheets can get stuck into. And watch the viewing figures rocket and the cash roll in! Heck, you may even have been shocked enough to flick over to ITV2 to watch the interviews! Look at their peak viewing figures and their multichannel profile soar!

Do you really think it has anything to do with music ? Laughing

This is what makes the X Factor so great - the results are unpredictable.

Maria - the wrong song killed her! Sharron was always going to save her, and Louis was always going to save the Conways Sisters - as their bland and talentless! It was Simon's vote that was the unpredictable one - there was a genuine chance he could have eliminated one of his own acts, and I think if he'd voted after Louis, he might have done!

I just wish the judges would have the balls to say they are sending them home because they want to eliminate the competition.

No idea who'll win it now. Shayne is the clear favourite, meaning he'll finish second. I thought it might be Maria who pipped him in the final, but now I'm lost.

And as for Chico - week 1 he deserved to stay, but I didn't think he'd last this long!
