Im looking forward to the X Factor starting tommorow. I think there might be 4 acts in each of the 3 groups this year for the final, as the series is running for longer this year.

That's correct. Rumours are that the final is on Christmas Eve, but I'm not even sure if this is true.

It's being reported on Teletext (in the Entertainment section p140) that Simon Cowell will quit as a judge on The X Factor after this series, but there will still be a third series!

As long as it keeps Sharron - she was the main attraction last year!

The annoying thing is, like Hear'Say, Steve whatever, G8, Phixx, One True Voice whatever, you know that the winner will not be successful in the music industry.

Well there is Kelly Clarkson and there was Liberty X; but I think these talent shows should offer prize money at the end of them and from that they can pen their own tracks and establish themselves in the music industry in their own rights, as a pose for them just getting through the back door and hanging around for one number one (cover) song.

I think Girls Aloud is the only successful one going. The Cheeky Girls are making rare appearances, but under a year, and Steve is in the sh*t.
