I am fed up with Simon Cowell! Mad Yes he knows his music but please - he's SO up his own.....rear!

The singers are brilliant. I think i'm in love with Cassie! Embarassed

And im in love with Jonathan (the blonde one from G4) Laughing

IMO the final 8 in order would be;

Rowetta - she has an amazing voice and a great personality, the song sounded great, I think she could win.

G4 - I agree with Simon, they were brilliant, Jonathan is the best in both looks and voice, and I love the song they performed. They also offer something different and I think they will make it to the final.

Steve - Considering he was ill, he did very well last night, he has a great voice. I think he will be a fave with the public too.

Verity - I dont know what Louis is talking about, she was great, very nervous but all things considered she did great and im glad she wasnt voted out, dont think she will win but she deserves to go far in this.

2 to Go - These 2 work very well together, and have great voices, although im not sure they have the X Factor.

Voices with Soul - Very average but still shouldnt have been in the bottom 2 as they arent that bad.

Cassie - Average, does nothing for me.

Tabby - absolutely awful, what was Sharon thinking putting him through? Hope he goes next week

I really liked that girl who was made up to look like Charlotte Church. She seemed very geniune, and was good looking too. Twisted Evil

And am I the only one who feels that the idea of the judges voting out of the bottom two is flawed? I mean it's odvious that two of the judges are going to vote for their own groups, they might as well just save time and ask for one answer from the judge who dosen't have somebody up there.

I agree. I think it should be the studio audience who votes.

I don't. If an audience voted last night, the group would still have been more likely to get in because there are more of their families in the audience. I trust the judges to make a better decision than the audience or viewers.

Eventually the judges will have to vote out an act from their own group, they will have to choose the better act or singer. My only worry is if every act gets voted out of say Sharon's group before the end, will it just be about the two other judges from then on? What will Sharon do?!

At first I thought the set looked REALLY cheap and tacky and just nasty! But it did grow on me.

I love Cassie too - she's great and she's so beautiful!! Twisted Evil

Like Kate as a presenter (She's beautiful, too!), but i still can't help thinking of her as an Extra presenter...

Oh, and I can't beleive that Roberta went last night - she had the whole package!! The blind kid and the girl should go - I just don't like them at all even though they are from Nottingham!

Well Sharon apparently said on the ITV2 show that if 2 of her acts were in the final 2, she wouldnt vote.

I would imagine if all of the acts in one of the judges categories were voted out they would still stay with the show and give their opinions on who is left, but whats the betting there will be 1 act from each judge left in the final three. I hope Tabby goes next week, but ive a feeling it will be voices with soul or Verity.

I want either Rowetta or G4 to win

There could even be the judges voting for the weaker contestant to progress to give their act a better chance.

Glad to hear the X Factor beat the BBC Laughing Although I still think the show is on a bit too early in the evening, I think it should go out from 7pm-8.15pm with Ant and Dec at 6pm. Its also a bit daft having a whole hour gap between the ITV1 show ending and the ITV2 show starting. Although clearly the reason they have done this is so there will be over 2 hours worth of voting which = more money.

Also surely the order the contestants were told they were coming back wasnt the order of how popular they were with the voters (clearly the last 3 were the ones with the lowest votes though) as that would mean Tabby was the most popular.

Tivo-ed it this week and fast-forwarded it through all of Kate Thornton's bits. Can't stand her as a presenter - not a patch on Ant and Dec IMHO.

Same here - watched the 2nd show in about 15 minutes Smile

Shame really as, until this programme, I'd thought this series was one of the very few good things on ITV.

The reason it starts an hour later is so people can watch Ant and Dec!

I'd be very surprised if the family members were allowed to vote. I went to watch a recording of Stars In Their Eyes at Granada and the family members there weren't given keypads. Also I had to sign something on the ticket application form to say I didn't know anyone who was taking part (yeah, like I'm best mates with Brian Blessed!).
