Whilst on the subject of WWTBAM?
I wonder why they keep sliping these celebrity special shows in the schedules at late notice.
Both were not identified in listings mags
Plus, the promos didn't even say what celebrities were going to be on Tonight until about Thursday.
And finally, tonight's show ran until 9.30pm for some reason, 15 minutes longer than billed, longer than even the 'Cilla Premiership Millionaire Movie' trailer.

God knows whats happening at Celador now, this has changed the perspective of the show.
Who is in the right? The winner denying he cheated, or Celador saying that he did.
Do you think they should show the episode(s) so that we (i.e. the general public) can make a decision upon this, or are we never gonna see what Celador are going on about!
On a similar note, I notice that Celador's prize fund bank was actually in the red going into this series... anything to do with why they won't give a million away?
Also what happened to the poor bloke who got a question right, but the computer said he was wrong. Did he come away any better off?

Do you mean the first bloke to get £250k in a series around wimbledon time a couple of years ago, I thought he got it wrong, but they also got it wrong so they ended up giving him the money, maybe we are talking about different events!
It would be good if they aired it, would be very interesting.

Mich, No I meant from this series, a bloke who gave the answer 'butler' as the middle name of someone. The computer gave the answer as something else, so he went home with £32,000.
One show later, Chris Tarrant announces that the computer was actually wrong and the person in question has two middle names (both the wrong and right answers give).
So they invited him back on the show, to be transmitted on Tuesday, the same night that the millionaire winner would have been shown.

I didn't notice the tie but I did notice
WWTBAM ran to 9.20 instead of 9.15
At about 9, we were introduced to a new set of contestants
At the end, there wasn't any 'Coming next on ITV1 Daylight', so this section must have been edited, as he didn't mention any next programme

Well, how best to cover up a bad situation..... make someone else a millionaire! Yes, as reported today a fourth winner has been made on the hit TV quiz show, making it the third in a year.
It took UK viewers one and a half years to break the 15 question deadlock, and now it seems easier than ever.
That'll be why the programme is 75 minutes long on Saturday...

The fourth winner of the £1,000,000 is another example of someone who, althought perfectly entitled to play, really doesn't need to win another million. He's a millionaire already, owning one mansion and another phenomenally expensive house in an affluent urban area. I thought the title of the programme was 'Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?', NOT 'Who Is Already A Millionaire And Wants More Millions?'
It's time we had a contestant that comes on the show, is virtually penniless, from a poor background and wins the million. To me, this person will be the first REAL winner. It's time that Celador Productions had a more stringent entry criteria, ie those who actually NEED the million, rather than those who are already rich, well-connected and secure in life. As Chris says, 'These are life-changing amounts we're giving out here'. Obviously not Chris, for some of your contestants.
