Of course, that's also how WWE wrestlers watch TV!

As a wrestling fan, I can confirm this.

Not MY problem as I don't work in the industry but I was channel hopping one night and on CBBC, the credits of one show cut to the credits of a BBC Four show dating back to 1984. Nothing happened afterwards but it was mildly confusing, to say the least.

In 2004 I taped over my Sister’s VHS recording of the Frasier finale with an episode of the Teletubbies.

I’m not sure why I was taping the Teletubbies since I was 8 years old at that point...

I was in a habit of taping Tom and Jerry Kids every morning before I went to school. I was only about 6. It happens.

I taped over Watership Down with Sharky & George.

Someone also managed to tape a minute or so of Dale's Supermarket Sweep, including opening music, in the middle of a supposedly write-protected copy of The Aristocats.

Please don't tell me this is the actual viewing angle they use to watch TV

Maybe they spend a lot of time in hospital or doctors waiting rooms where they place TV's just like that, so it's second nature to them. They'll likely be getting seen for severe neck ache soon enough.

For some reason, TV sets in inexpensive French hotels are always set up at weird angles (usually high up some wall).

Pity it was so easy to defeat the write protection on VHS tapes Smile
