TWO PLANES HIT WORLD TRADE CENTRE - TERRORIST ATTACK

Tony's speech won't get much publicity now!

Very dramatic and a major news event. BBC One joined BBC News24 straight after Neighbours in a BBC News Report static caption.

Details coming through on Sky News, News24 and all other stations... ITN in fact are also broadcasting a news report presented by Kirsty Young.

BBC and ITV have both broken into the schedule with live coverage. BBC are currently relaying coverage from ABC.

Can't see what Sky and CNN are doing right now, as my Dad's watching the History Channel!

This is pretty horrific stuff

Very horrific - a sickening terrorist attack (if it is a terrorist attack) with both on fire and if there were hijacked passenger planes this does not bear thinking about.

ITN coverage had an interview with Nick Jones - at the end Kirsty Young says 'that was Nick Jones who happens to be my husband.'

I can see this dominating schedules for a long time...

I think it is a possibility - maybe not right through we'll have to see what develops. But the latest is over 1000 injured.... I think many fatalities can be expected.

Yes still on BBC One and ITV and Channel 5 plus Sky News and all news channels.

Tragic - two United Airlines jet suspected to be hijacked.

Here in Greece, all channels are covering this with all of them showing CNN.

ANT1 has BBC World and EuroNews, ALPHA has Sky News, TEMPO is concentrating on both Sky News and BBC World.
