I get the impression that the TWT team were happy with the programme. There are bound to be one or two hiccups with a new format of programme, and the fact that everyone had been there all night setting up I think they did very well. It will settle down, and I think it is a good move for World to introduce a 3.5 hour news strand.
I'm now watching WBR, and where Tanya is sitting, you can see Martine sorting her hair and putting on her makeup on the reflection from the screen which says 'World Business Report'.
I wonder if they know we can see?
Whos not been reading the earlier posts!
Im mentioned this on the first post, for a while I thought I was the only one who noticed, you could clearly see her holding a mirror and fixing her hair

Yes I got all the open, sting and end titles, but I don't have any webspace to put them up
I love how on the end titles the graqphics seem to be playing everywhere due to all the screens and the two plasmas in the studio.
Like how that man stands up and shrugs too.
World always play their end titles in the plasma. When they run the titles (-15 to off air), they mix from the generic inset to the titles in the plasma, mix through to the wide shot, then clean titles
The guy standing up is probably Buzz Lightyear (nick-name! ) He likes to have a good stretch when his programme comes off the air

Well, I admit I didn't see very much of the programme but I wasn't very impressed.
'The World Today' does just look like it is tagged on to the end of the titles, and I thought the headline bed was very weak and nothing-y. I know it's 5 am here but remember it will be mid-afternoon in Australia - it's not particularly meant as a wake up programme, is it?
I have to say, though, that I did like the remix of the sting for the opening titles. Very nice.
I know that Bail had posted one MP3 mixed together of all the different sections of the opening music - I've got them all separately so if anyone wants them post here and I'll upload them somewhere.
