Surely not Live? Highlights like Sky?

Yep, all live matches covered by BBC Television will be shown with additional commentary options etc., along with 4 minute highlight packages of all games. Not bad, eh?!

Watch for a flurry of businesses desperately trying to find ways to stop their employees looking at it Laughing

In England? Aren't all the England matches in the evening (ie after the normal 9-5 workday?)

I know certainly of one place where they won't allow you to watch the England matches - and that's on the big screen at Wimbledon... they've never allowed it in the past "for health & safety reasons" or something like that... heck... you're not even allowed to take flags to Wimbledon any more!

The first group game is at 2pm on a Saturday, the second against Trinidad & Tabago is at 5pm, so commuters may want to watch on their laptops, well if they are in a wireless environment such on some Virgin trains and National Express coaches?

I think highlights will be useful online, and lets not forget the student population, who may want to watch on their laptops to aviod having to pay the licence fee!

I find it better to play the BBC online stuff through Realplayer externally, rather than through the console they provide.

So, here one for you.

The coverage on ITV will be split between ITV1 and ITV4.
Here's the rub - does this mean that all the afternoon kick off games, will be on ITV1 and the less attractive 8pm K/o's will be shunted onto ITV4?
Because as ITV4 timeshifts with the new CITV channel during the day, the afternoon games can't be shown on ITV4. Or will ITV do a sneaky slight of hand and show the afternoon games on Men & Motors instead?

Hmm... Confused

Think it's going to be for the last round of group games that are played simultaenously ...or that was what happened last time with England v Nigeria being shown on BBC1 and Sweden - Argentina shown on what was BBC Choice...

Can't believe we're 9 pages in and the whole event hasn't even started yet Laughing

Also, are Baddiel and Skinner returning for Fantasy World Cup this year?

All matches are on BBC1 or ITV1 except the following

The final group games are played simultaneously as per usual. On Tuesday 20th and Wednesday 21st, the 3pm games will be shown on ITV1 and ITV2 with the 8pm games shown on ITV1 and ITV4

On Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd the 3pm games will be shown on BBC1 and apparantly BBC2, with the 8pm games shown on BBC1 and BBC3

The afternoon games on Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd will be on BBC1 and BBC Interactive, while the evening games will indeed be on BBC1 and BBC3 with full presentation teams for each of the evening kick-offs. See BBC Press Office

Dont see the point in using BBC3 IMHO when interactive is available. And we're told that simultaneous sport on two channels is a big 'no-go' these days.

Sadly not this time round, Frank Skinner said he wouldn't do anymore, mainly due to the fact that the ratings for the 2004 version were poor, even though it was funny. Especially the Peter Beardsley Phoenix From The Flames skit, I could go on.... Laughing

It's interesting that Jim Rosenthal will be playing a large part in ITV's coverage. In Euro 2004 I don't think he was part of the team at all, Matt Smith was the reserve presenter

Digiguide has got full details of programmes up to the 16th June so far which includes 12 matches on ITV1. So far 2 are shown as being presented by Steve Rider, 6 by Gabby Logan and 4 by Jim Rosenthal

Steve Rider isn't doing much at the start cos the British Grand Prix is next Sunday. So he's off to Germany after that.
