As it only shows European cities it tends only to be on during Europe peak at the weekends, and is only on the 1 min fillers.
Ahh, I see! I receive BBC World via a terrestrial rebroadcast from a neighbouring island (Syros) and unfortunately the reception is usually very bad as Aegean TV has only a low power transmitter. Also, they only show BBC World up until around 4pm (local time) so I'm usually at work/at the beach/in bed hungover
It's the addition of the sort of bongo drum beat that makes it for me!

They had the weather filler music on just before the top of the hour today at 15.59CET, I agree - it is GROOVY!!
And yes, every week there is many comments (phone & email) from viewers all over the world passing comments on the break filler music and it's availability.
Hang on aren't people around the wrold meant to be seeing adverts during those breaks?
Has anybody got the part of the break-filler music when it shows the temperatures in various parts of the world.
Yep, it'll be on TV Home on Sunday as part of 'BBC World Break Filler 2mins30secs'.

The Beeb puts out a clean feed. Local cable/broadcast companies CAN put in adverts if they wish - but if they don't have any adverst oor don't want to put any in, they don't have to. At least that's what I've heard.
