Got this from a very nice person at World (it was in response to a question if there would be anything else on the CD):

The CD will be ready for purchase in October - please check the website at
that time. I am afraid there will not be any other music on this one.
Maybe in the future! (Unlikely though!)

Best wishes

Yes it was rumoured that they were to release the music on the BBC Worldwide label for public use.

I'm just glad it will be on there. According to people who work at BBC WORLD, the emails that they have received is amazing. Thats why they've decided to release it.

Anyone know exactly what'll be on it and whether us lot in the UK will be allowed to get it direct?

Cheers, Asa

From what I have heard the CD will contain 3 tracks of break filler music, the 3rd being a remix with an Asian flavour. I don't know any more than that.

And yes, every week there is many comments (phone & email) from viewers all over the world passing comments on the break filler music and it's availability.

Has anybody got the part of the break-filler music when it shows the temperatures in various parts of the world. I've only ever heard it a couple of times - and I think it's one the best pieces. I haven't come across it on the various sites we all know and love Very Happy

I don't mean the music that introduces the weather itself.

As it only shows European cities it tends only to be on during Europe peak at the weekends, and is only on the 1 min fillers.
I'm not sure if it is in the mix on the CD, but when I spoke to the guy who was producing the CD some months ago and mentioned in passing about the weather filler, he got excited and rushed down to presentation to have a listen.
