I saw this on the Digital Spy Forum, and I wanted to find this out for myself. I watched an ident last night ('free') and yes, they have been changed so they all have 'five' in them. Guess they wanted to include their channel's name in the idents to get more notice.

"Is it better with 'five' or with the words?" isn't a yes-or-no question. Confused

Hope it's not only me who's confused.

Yeah I thought that, but seeing as several people had already voted, I thought that I wouldn't say anything.

"Tea or coffee"

"Yes please". Get that all the time in my house!

Not really seen enough to judge - have they made a good job of it or is it obvious the "five" is slapped over the original word?

Sorry, I'll change the poll name. I was getting a bit confused on what to call it.

Edit: Seems I can't edit it. The name should be:

Quote:
Is it better with 'five' or not?

Oooh thank you, I'm glad someone saw my post on DS! I've noticed the music has been removed from "fear" leaving only creaking doors. I can't quite understand all the sudden changes.

Actually, they haven't changed them *all* to five. "hope" and "fast" still appears regularly in thier original style.

And it was also discussed (loosely) in this thread last week:

I feel that the wrods were the channel's ident's U.S.P. It was what made them 'special', the build up of where the word would appear, and then, what was the word?! It got me sitting up, I still hadn't seen all of them, so I enjoyed trying to guess the word (okay, not enjoyed, but, you know!), and working out how the ident would resolve.

Oh well, looks like I'll only ever see the words on the wordlwide web now, except for the last two, but oh well.
