WinTV questions

I asked this question on Digitalspy but so far have had no answer:


I was thinking about getting a WinTV thing for my PC as I want to be able to watch Sky channels in my room - but I'm not sure which model to get...

I have a Sky+ box and am running Windows XP, so I don't know if that makes any difference, and I would prefer one of the USB models as I have a USB port.

As the Sky+ box is downstairs, how would I get the pictures to the PC upstairs?

So any help in answering my question and reccomending which one to get would be appreciated

I have the WinTV USB one, and I wouldn't recommend it really, if you just want to simply watch TV, then get it, but if you wish to use other Programs and to consistently Record clips, then I wouldn't bother with it, you'd be easier getting a standard TV Card that goes into the back of your Computer. Plus when you capture pictures, the Quality isn't great either.
