Considering I'm always moaning lately about people not starting new threads it would be rude not too.
Why they let Jon Snow do the ceremony god knows - he may have been great at handling the Ukraine/Russia thing but he's just not cut out for this kind of thing. Interesting though they've got the BBC's Frank Gardener as part of their punditry team.
Intro is the same theme as 2012 with titles that I think are quite reminiscent of the BBC's effort in Vancouver four years ago - looks great. Anyone know where the studio is they're using - it looks pretty good IMO.
Ads are always going to annoy in these ceremonies - kind of ironic that Krishnan pointed out how the firebird animations were painstakingly hand painted only for C4 to play out ads over most of them. The cross to the Last Leg studio mid ceremony was a bit unnecessary too - could easily have been done beforehand. They also squeezed in a post-ceremony cross to Crufts to talk to Clare mainly about whether the dogs enjoyed it.
Anyway, coverage continues mornings on C4, with two extra channels online.
