Thats right, Hauppage, the makers of WIN TV, have brought out the NOVA-T. This allows us to view all of the Free To Air channels that we see on ITV digital Direct to our PC's!!!

'This is a landmark in TV Cards'

What do you guys(and gals!) think.

Does this '14 BBC channels' mean the regions? Will you be able to get News 24?

Nah, there should be a comma between 'BBC' and '14' in that paragraph.

N24 should be available though - not sure how the postcoding would work for BBC One.

I think you'll get the same digital BBC ONE/TWO as your analogue one.  Same as with ITV Digital.
If it's the same lineup as ITV Digital/iDTV then you should be able to receive BBC ONE, TWO, CHOICE, NEWS 24, KNOWLEDGE and PARLIAMENT (audio only).  Plus the free ITV channels (S2 in Scotland), C4 (S4C in Wales), C5, ITN, Shop!...    are there any more? (My mind has blanked with the phrase 'This channel is not included in you ONdigital subscription' on a green banner at the top.)

The following free-to-air channels will be available with the new card, in widescreen:

BBC ONE
BBC TWO
BBC CHOICE
BBC KNOWLEDGE
BBC NEWS 24
ITV
ITV2
Channel 4
Channel 5
Shop!
ITN News
Simply Money
TV Travel Shop

Sounds good!

Yeah, very true Mark - of course it would - it's coming off the normal local transmitter! Sorry, my brain took a nosedive when I wrote that last post! Razz:

There isn't a TV card that would pick up foreign channels? And you know what i'm going to say next, BBC World for example!

Looks good but you need a pretty decent PC. I'll have to think about upgrading my Intel Celeron 333 then. Smile

Very, very nice - I think I'm going to have to get one - David Letterman can't wait for ITV2 to come to Sky Digital. I mourned when Paramount dropped them and I haven't seen it since. It will be worth every penny too - he's very funny.

Oh you'd need a sat decoding card, but you'd still need the satellite dish on the side of your house pointing @ the correct satellite!

Cheers,
