Obviously using a roped off public area with tannoy announcements going on.

Presumably the upper terrace is being used by someone else as the BBC said they didn't want it.

Wherever Wimbledon 2Day is broadcast from its very breezy tonight, can hear things rattling and blowing all over the place when they're in the "studio".

Wimbledon have put a real spanner in the BBC Scheduling tomorrow, seems that because of the Budget, referred to earlier, Andy Murray will currently start his QF on the Red Button. They've scheduled him to start at 1.00pm.

To be fair the BBC have put that spanner in the works themselves. With BBC News (presumably) simulcasting the budget coverage there is no reason at all why the BBC1 bulletin couldn't be earlier. After all they wouldn't think twice about moving the 6pm news now to accomodate coverage, so you'd think common sense would prevail over this.

Match won't get underway properly until about 13:20, and the 1 o'clock news has been shortened I believe.

News now down to 8+5 apparently, and the Rain isn't far off either.

Murray Federer this afternoon, do we think if it goes beyond 6pm (likely) they'll delay/move the news to keep it on BBC1 tonight?

It will be uninterrupted on BBC 1. Would imagine they will delay the news but may choose to put it on BBC2 depending on scheduling.

I think they will keep it on BBC Two the whole time. The news will need to be shown on One today due to Tunisia and Greece stories, and I doubt they wanna put regional news on Two either. So the match will remain on Two till 7:30.

Regional news in England can't be shown on BBC Two. However it has been known for the nations to move across to BBC Two during a late running Murray match at 1830.

Yes as whilst in the past regional news could be shown on BBC Two (and in fact I think they moved it for Wimbledon just a few years before DSO), that's no longer a possibility post Digital Switchover
