And the BBC Sport graphics inconsistently (as dosxuk showed us with the Snooker last month) continues with Wimbledon. The 2014 graphics set (re-coloured in Wimbledon green and purple) is being used for some of the presentation elements, but the match coverage is still using the 2010/11 graphics set, as are the graphics used as Sue talks through the courts.

I don't understand why they haven't got the 2014 graphics fully adapted for Wimbledon this year - it's really rather poor. It's not because the World Feed doesn't want 14:9 safe graphics (as opposed to the 2010 set being 4:3 safe) is it?!

Possibly. Although the commentary bug is from the new set.

Seems to be a horizontal positioning issue with the pictures coming from SW19 at the moment on BBC1 and BBC2, I can see the top few lines of the screen below a black bar at the bottom.

Heard a fuzzy noise, and then the picture was sorted.

Also good to see one veteran commentating on another veteran; Barry Davies commentating on Leyton Hewitt.

They are using the new graphics for this full screen menu.

I think it's a case of BBC graphics, on the wraparound presentation, in the new style vs IMG graphics, on the court feeds, in the old BBC style.

I hope whoever dreamed up the "Wimbledon 2Day" moniker is currently ostracised to the corner of their sitting room, thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

Still scheduled too early.

Heather Watson is yet to start this evening, and they'll only leave the Naomi Broady match to go to that, surely?

They should schedule the highlights show for 21:30 at the earliest, and delay it until after Newsnight if play is still ongoing.

Yeah, someone should tell BBC Sport that 'Perfect Curve' is a fictcious PR organisation invented purely for comedy purposes and there is no need to try and out do them on shockingly bad ideas.

Yeah, like - WINbledon

And score box top left.
It's the only major tournament where the score box is top of screen - every other one it's bottom left. Why? There is enough space, and if it's a Wimbledon AELTC imposed thing, moving it to where the score box is everywhere else in the tennis coverage world, all it's hiding is a small bit of grass.

Something to do with camera angles I believe.

BBC2 now briefly showing the Heather Watson match live before Wimbledon 2Day

When other networks around the world show Wimbledon do they use BBC's top of screen score board or use what is better eg the bottom of screen and there own graphics ?
