I can't see the BBC annoying their 50+ audience who watch the channel on Sunday by replacing a stalwart of the Sunday schedule with the younger skewing Casualty.
Casualty doesn't skew that much younger and has aired on Sunday's before.

It might not skew much younger I think the demographic is probably very different though.
UHD is only available from Centre Court this year for broadcast. However does anyone else looking at the PQ from Court 1 feel that the source from the court is actually UHD. It's seems significantly crisper than any of the other courts.

All the major courts will almost certainly be shot in native UHD
I thought it was more recent than that - i.e. the last one before this one, and they'd had it for years. They probably didn't - as you say it was probably one year nearly two decades ago but your memory convinces you it's been there every year for 30 years.
The HD is really poor 3mbps HD for a prized event like Wimbledon, the world feed at 7e is 13mbps!
The BBC Sport graphics don’t even match the host broadcasters superior graphics, at least with the previous graphics it wasn’t quite as obvious what was Bbc and which part was IMG.

Sorry, 3mbps where, on what platform?
Others will have more experience, but 13mbps sounds on the low side for a world feed, one that will end up being compressed at least once more before it reaches viewers.
Bad timing with Federer’s match starting at 17:56 on BBC One, leaving only four minutes before it switches to BBC Two.
They got to about 40-0 in the first game before Sue had to call a halt on BBC One.
I'm presuming there's a reason they didn't start the game on BBC2 initially? Not a BBC schedulers "must be on BBC1" reason, but an actual sensible one.... (probably more rhetorical)

Yes, Djokovic had just won on BBC 2 and they wanted to show his post match interview.
Sue did give warning that the Federer match would move before it started.
