You expect them to move the final to BBC Two?
I wonder what scheduling decisions the BBC will make this evening, no doubt whatever they do will be very strange and cause maximum disruption

Wimbledon already scheduled for BBC2, yet somehow tennis fans are unable to follow a schedule and press "102" on their remotes - and everyone who has PVR recordings set is now messed around, potentially all night. Sorry, but no.

We’ve been having a two screen sports overload here, Tennis on the phone, cricket on C4. What an amazing evening of nail biting sport !
BBC One, BBC Two & C4 schedules messed up tonight.

If that's the schedule, yes! I know that's probably not popular and it'll never catch on, but everyone who has BBC1 has BBC2 as well.. this is what I have never, and will never, understand.
Well absolutely. Thinking of how they can compromise.. ok the news isn't the end of the world - there's the news channel and regional is repeated at 10pm, so arguably you can get around that. 7-8pm is already messed up, but you have "flagship" programs at 8pm on BBC1 & BBC2.....

As long as none of the non sports programming doesn’t move channel, only time, PVR recordings should be OK

That’s exactly what the online schedule is suggesting they’ll do.
I’m guessing BBC One will run until 7:35 and then they will run an hour late and drop Antiques Roadshow, back on track at 9pm. That would be the sensible choice so it’ll be the one they won’t go with.

Not for the final - no way, and PVR wise better to keep it on BBC1 so the recording is extended.
Wouldn't be surprised if that is bumped to BBC4 come 8pm - Top Gear seems to be an unmoveable object.
Presumably BBC2 have been showing Coast.

It's the final. It's not moving.
BBC Two still has the women's doubles final to come, that's going to ruin their schedule anyway.

Within reason....
I'm on Virgin - I've got no issue with the lack of dynamic EPG, I get why and understand that late changes like this cause an issue. You can mitigate with padding etc, but ultimately I go back to why the need to rip the schedule up. I'm yet to find any TV platform which carries BBC1 but not BBC2, and you can't tell me the BBC didn't have contingencies... put a filler on after the end of the sports slot etc etc....
