Casualty, postponed from last Saturday owing to Wimbledon, was just introduced with:

"Now on BBC One, Casualty, postponed from last week owing to the footie."

The BBC is staffed by idiots.

No, it's staffed by humans who sometimes make completely inconsequential mistakes.

Edit: it may have been the same announcer who introduced the postponed Holby City earlier in the week (she did announce the extra one on Wednesday), which was due to football.

I think they need to perhaps put the cameras a bit higher - its a bit annoying seeing the top of some gentleman's head everytime he stand to applaud a big point.

I don't think they can, as there is a ceiling, but yes it is annoying.

They seem to have noticed as a couple of times now it has titled slightly upwards as the man stands up - so it must be remote controlled?

I believe the main camera is manually operated with a bloke sat behind it near the back of the stands
