Extremely poor decision. Right as Jack Draper was about to get his trophy presented as well.
Ouch. Barry Davies faded out mid-sentence at the end of his last commentary in order to fit in a Get Inspired promo before an interview with Novak Djokovic in a programme which has another one hour to spare. Not great.

And in the end, he didnt. Just a brief mention of his final commentary at the end of the programme.
Actually even Sue Barker didn't do a proper sign off before Clare Balding took over for the last few links.
He was cut off just as he was about to commentate on the boys singles presentation ceremony - they're now showing the highlights of that match, so hopefully Barry will get his closing moment. Albeit on tape.

Seems to happen too often now and BBC Sport seem far too keen to squeeze promos (usually for themselves) or short films into breaks in play rather than let viewers enjoy what the BBC is for - uninterupted action - and that action includes being able to enjoy the moments when there is no action.

The UHD Centre Court feed was vanilla WBS world feed in the early stages, clutter free, very civilised

A bit late to this thread, but the right choice was made to dump Our Girl entirely, certainly as far as PVR recordings go. An hours wasted recording is annoying, but at least the rescheduled episode should get picked up seamlessly. Much better than the alternatives.
I think this proves that it was the correct decision to move the tennis from One to Two at 22.30, so that the 'Ten' could go out at a reasonable hour on such an important news day.
I fully endorse all the scheduling changes that the BBC made tonight - I think the right decisions were made in all cases.
