And with Federer out, Wimbledon's last chance to get a final which could challenge the World Cup Final in terms of worldwide attention has gone. If England make the World Cup Final I wonder how many empty seats they be? And how low the ratings could be even up against France v Croatia.

BBC deciding to put del Potro v Nadal on BBC One at 17:50, looks like they are happy to rip up the schedule tonight while the football is on ITV.

Sue said its only until 6pm then back on BBC2. I am not sure they will move it back at 7 because BBC1 tonight will attract those who probably dont like any sport.

They’re not going to be concerned either way on BBC One and I can’t imagine it’ll be half empty, it’s the Men Final after all, they’ll fill those seats

Seems that's the case, strange to move it just for 10 mins.

The regions be delighted they're off air by 7pm as if Federer had lasted longer it is one non-Murray match they may have kept on BBC1.

No sign of Today at Wimbledon at the advertised time of 20:00, given two of the four men's quarter finals are still being played.

Djokovic v Nadal looking like it has no chance of beginning before 6pm, with BBC2 die to switch to the Proms at 8.30. BBC1 looking pretty free from then though and would be surprised if it is over by then.

Could they move the Proms to BBC4, leaving the tennis free to stay on BBC2? As I type, it's unlikely the Djokovic v Nadal match will start before 18:30, as there's seemingly a 30 minute break between semi finals. That was the case for the womens semi finals yesterday.

Very unlikely they'd move the Proms to BBC Four.

That's if they can play it tonight, and finish it tonight......

I should point something out regards the roof. If it got dark they can close the roof, and put the lights on. But, when the AELTC got planning permission for the roof, a condition was that play cannot go on beyond 23:00.
