Also HD takes longer than SD which is why HD channels are usually a couple of seconds behind their SD equivalents.
I've measured HD channels on Freeview being about 8 or 9 seconds behind real time.
It will also be receiver depenant to an extent too.
Next time you see the BBC Salford sports studio in use, you can often see the gallery clock
in the background, it's out of focus, but on HD you can just about make out the second display,
compare that with a known time source (Radio controlled clock or watch for instance) and measure the delay.
With Murray out, is it likely Konta will be third on Centre tomorrow?
I believe there will only be two matches on Centre Court tomorrow, same as there were today and would have been yesterday if it wasn't for the changes they had to make.
It'll be the two semis and then a men's doubles on centre.
Even being second on means nothing as ladies matches don't take very long, they'll both be done before 5pm. So it looks like no more scheduling fun and games and no more big ratings this year at Wimbledon.
Looks like they missed a game of Federer v Raonic as they took that off BBC One before they moved the match on BBC Two to the red button.
Pretty poor how that panned out actually. Raonic was at 4th (I think) break point when coverage moved to Red Button. Looks like moving the Djokovic match to Red Button was a very much last minute decision as the Federer match never ended up there and the game was missed.

Well the Djokovic-Berdych match was in a first set tie break, so I think they were reluctant to leave it especially since Djokovic was behind.

Man, that feels weird. A British woman doing better than all the men! Must be the first time that's happened for a good few decades.
Was going to say yesterday, when was the last time the BBC One schedule would have been displaced because of a Women's match? For the past few years all the late local news programmes have been because of Murray, haven't they?
