All easy to say with the benefit of hindsight but considering Djokovic v Mannarino is now moving courts they could have got that played tonight on centre after Federer v Dimitrov (which was suggested in commentary at the time).
Be interesting to see tomorrow if should Konta play beyond 6pm whether we see it kept on BBC1.
As Djokovic v Mannarino didn't get played today, play on Centre Court starts at 12:00 tomorrow, which will mean changes to the schedule of BBC One or Two (or both?) in the morning.

If they had put it on straight after, yes, but there are two reasons:
1) it was scheduled for court 1 so you would disappoint court 1 ticket holders
2) they cited safety concerns given there were 30,000 on site, and there are 15,000 seats on centre court, if they opened it up again it with unallocated seating it would be a crowd control nightmare.

No. 1 Court ticket holders were not seeing it in any case, and you don't know who you will be seeing when you get tickets anyway
It'd be Centre Court ticket holders only, I can't imagine they will have gone home, I know when I went I stayed until they were emptying the bins.

Exactly, and even had centre court ticket holders gone there is precedent for them putting a match on their after the end of the centre court session and opening it up to ground ticket holders.
I'm guessing rain is probably forecast for tomorrow with them moving Djokovic to Centre and giving it an earlier start rather than putting it on Court 1 and perhaps having 3 of the womens quarter finals on Centre.
Also the usual complaints from those in the womens game about the men taking priority today on the show courts. No doubt that Djokovic, Murray, Federer and Nadal should have been on Centre and Court 1 - they're the four who sell the tickets. However could be an argument for today with all the last 16 games to begin play earlier on Centre and Court 1 to potentially allow for an extra womens game.

ALL ? you could hear, or just something you could hear along with programme sound ?
I heard it, it was about 25ish dB below Clare Balding and Co voices
Multichannel GLITS signal BTW (BLITS)

It might have been there, but no one had seemed to used it for line up, because the (pointless) background music whenever Clare B was reading out the results etc, was overpowering from the rear speakers.
All I can hear on Wimbledon Today is the test card sound test.

Could be a long day on CC today, the roof is being closed now ready for a start, the four QFs on the Ladies Draw and the remaining R16 Men's match could all be played there if the weather closes in as forecast,
