A couple of years ago - and I hope I haven't got this too wrong - some of the audio and comms circuits were bundled in a couple of analogue audio multiplexes (I think it was a BBC Designs Department job - possibly using frequency modulation to get a bunch of low-bandwidth circuits into one baseband link), which were fed into both halves of a NICAM coder, which then went over an AoIP circuit. I'm not sure who came up with that one, or why they didn't just do it all as AoIP in the first place.

I was under the impression the BBC Red Button would be down to only 3 streams during this years Championships. I however notice currently there are 4/5 streams available. Is this a response from the BBC to viewer response, or did they not count the streams shown on BBC 1/2

The red button service count only includes the interactive services, not the BBC 1 / BBC 2 programmes.

I hope Court 17 is fta on 7e it has been for the last few days, the picture quality from the EBU is top notch.

I fear you are right. It looks like tennis is on BBC One at 19:00 with The One Show moving to BBC Two. Totally pointless change.

Quite amusing hearing Sue Barker advise viewers that her own programme had been moved over to BBC Two.

She did the same last year.
