Yes, any decent PVR will respond to the real EIT triggers the Beeb send. My lad's 75 quid Digihome Freeview PVR box, and my Humax Freesat PVR both managed perfectly timed recordings of Top Gear from BBC 2 SD and HD respectively last night.

I thought on one occasion (Gordon Brown resignation?) it got bumped back a day on BBC One & BBC Three, but the Iplayer version initially went on, but quickly got removed.

(I'm sure I read something similar on either here or Digital Spy Forums!)

They appear to not have time to update the subtitles on the Andy Murrary documentary, as looking at it on iPlayer it looks to be the subtitles for the original edition - it's quite weird to see some of the opening scenes in silence whilst the subtitles are in full flow, and then to read something and then hear it on screen sometime later.
