Is this the first example of a 3D programme being on the Red Button? My TV can't actually handle 3D from within the red button app.
I can turn to 303 and switch to side-by-side mode to watch in 3D but if I arrive there via pressing the red button the TV will only allow me to activate simulated 3D, not side-by-side.
How do other devices handle 3D from within the Red Button?

It'll be one of the last too. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-23195479
EDIT: Just realised you're already aware of the story as you made a thread on it.

Freeview should be relatively easy to add opts on any BBC channel with the move to centralized coding and mux. To opt on other channels on Sky, put basic BBC1 onto 101 by adding a new feed or borrowing a red button feed), switch the sustaining feed being sent to the regions to carry BBC2, remap 102 to carry those feeds from the regions that usually appear on 101. My understanding is that remapping EPG positions on the fly can't currently be done.

YES!
.... and now EE becomes a 15 min programme at 9:45.
Are they going to do that????
Are they going to do that????
I reckon that BBC One will run 15mins late to accommodate Eastenders next?
YES!

That would be 1 hour and 45 minutes late.

No OP was correct - BBC One will run and is running 15 mins late to accommodate Eastenders.

With Today at Wimbledon dropped again maybe next year they should move it to BBC1 at 10:35pm.
Maybe beef the show up a bit to be more than highlights, a bit like Gabby Logan's Olympics programme was last year.
With DQF meaning the post-news slot is now having to fill with repeats much more often, filling 10:35pm with Today at Wimbledon would help to spread the content nicely.
They could arrange for Graham Norton to have finished before Wimbledon. Question Time could possibly also be on a break. BBC2 could air live tennis until 8:30pm like they always used to do, followed by Dad's Army.

We've been saying that for years but they don't seem interested in doing it - they don't even move it to after Newsnight anymore. If they finish early for the day on BBC2 they could always either show a game from earlier that wasn't aired on BBC1 or BBC2 or just cut and maybe show a full episode of Coast rather than just 10 minutes.
