I can't believe Red Bee weren't aware, but remember knowing there's a problem is one thing, finding the cause and fixing it is quite another !
Anyone tried phoning the Beeb so they can pass a message on to Red Bee/Pres?
There's got to be someone on duty at the moment, surely?

11pm is not a civilised time to play tennis. And anyway, this is the UK. We simply don't have the climate for late night sport. It gets too cold too quickly in the UK.
And you know what? All you do is moan, moan, moan!

Wimbledon though is supposed to be tennis in it's purest form. It being under roof is one thing, but half time and then tennis against the clock is quite another.
If snooker finals can go on to 2am in the morning I don't see why other events couldn't. At the end of the day it's two weeks of a year (and just a couple of days per tournament if that) and the tournament has been around longer than anyone living in the area.
It's also affected the commentary - the last 25 minutes have all been about the clock.

I sent them a message on Twitter last night - because it would seem that was the only place they were apologising for the sound problems:
And their reply...
"Not all teams may be aware"?! Surely someone is monitoring the broadcast feed and could just have a word with the CA or at least the channel director to tell the CA to apologise to viewers who are probably looking for a new TV thinking the problem is with their set!

Can you at least ask the continuity announcer (if live) to acknowledge the sound problems? Not everyone is on Twitter! thanks.

Hi James, as you can imagine there are large teams behind BBC One and not all teams may be aware. We will however feedback.

Well, who on earth is 'BBCOneUK', it won't be a Red Bee employee in any case, and certainly won't be anybody with any authority to do anything other than peddle marketing based buzz words .
You can't beat a proper Duty Office landline phone number, but even that these days is often a call centre staffed by dimwits,

Surely the absence of a 'LIVE FROM WIMBLEDON' caption every three minutes alerted you to the fact it was a recording ?
Annoying lack of Replay logo while they show Federer's match from earlier.
