Thank God the BBC stuck with the Rosol Nadal match. Usually they only overrun for Murray but thankfully and justifiably they stuck with it and I'd say the ratings will be high.

They'd have been even higher had the football not been on, however Lineker mention will have helped matters.

Yes I think most people will probably have watched the football, but either way it was definitely a great night for sport on the BBC! Both were very tense matches indeed.
Was there an explanation for John Inverdale's seat made of tennis balls?
I was just looking through this thread for a mention of that! I've not seen it before, but wasn't sure whether I hadn't just missed it. It looked extremely uncomfortable didn't it? I'm assuming it was made out of softer replica tennis balls as opposed to the real thing? I wouldn't fancy sitting on real tennis balls all night!

It wasn't there earlier in the week so I'm guessing it was just there as a one of, with an explanation given at some point.
I guess it was meant to be a comedy item refered to in Today at Wimbledon, but in the event ended up looking quite out of place in the middle of the regular extended coverage.
It has been created by someone to raise money for charity but I can't remember any more details. John said the set is to be its home for the next 10 days so it should be back tomorrow. He also said it was very comfortable!
