I've said it before and I'll say it again . . . she should have got her usual big gig at the Olympics. Prime-time presenter, including anchoring the ceremonies and the athletics from the Olympic Stadium. Would have been a nice way to bow out if, as we are led to believe, she'll be scaling down over the next few years.

I really do hope she at least gets to co-host the ceremonies - it would be very wrong for Gary Lineker to do that alone considering it's the first Olympics he has presented since Atlanta.
John Inverdale is her obvious replacement for Wimbledon, and I guess they might bring Claire Balding over from 5 Live to replace the Inverdale role, though I suspect Today at Wimbledon's days might be numbered.
