I'm surprised they haven't yet changed the schedule to move The One Show to BBC Two, to allow the tennis to return to BBC One at 6:55.

Don't speak too soon! Laughing

EDIT - hehe, told you so!

On BBC Two it just ended suddenly without explanation with a new London 2012 sting based on the titles.

Someone or something is a bit slow updating the EPG today. The One Show has an hour slot on BBC Two according to the EPG at the moment. How difficult is it to stick Coast in at 19:30?

On BBC One the tennis is already extended until 19:50. Potentially, this match could last another hour or more if Ferrer wins the 4th set.

I expect, even when it comes to 19:45 the EPG will still claim that the tennis will be finished by 19:50. I don't know why they don't update the EPG properly. Why leave it until the programme is scheduled to finish before updating the EPG.

Actually, it had already been updated by the time you wrote this, and extended to 20:20.
As it happened, the situation took care of itself anyway and the match was over by 19:35, which meant they then had to fill until TOTH to meet a pre-recorded Sue Barker on the unbilled Question of Sport.

The Last Night of the Proms has been announced as part of the 3D trial so that means BBC HD survives until at least the 8th September, but surely once it's gone the BBC won't be doing anything else in 3D unless they press ahead with a 3D channel, which is something I don't think they could really justify at the moment.

Unless the HD channel gets a reprive. Has there been any sort of official, long-term announcement about what's happening with the fifth HD channel capacity yet?
