Yep - there aren't any other shows that come from Wimbledon AFAIK.
I think they are just concrete shells for the rest of the year - they don't have any real equipment or sets left in them AFAIK. (The studios are just spaces to rig a set and put cameras in - previously the BBC used a wooden hut on the roof I believe? They don't have galleries as a studio at a broadcast centre would - instead the cameras are cabled to an outside broadcast truck brought in for the fortnight)

The VT stopped working mid way through the montage before the switchover to BBC 2. I thought at first that it was deliberate and part of the sequence (as they had come to the point where the cameraman fell over the pothole in the street) but it soon became apparent that they had technical problems.
