Just before my annual "Why they switched coverage from BBC2 to BBC1, and BBC1 progs to BBC2 - just to show bloody Henman" moan, a few thoughts on the coverage so far.
On the whole excellent, though still the misguided illusion Henman could win it - and the even more misguided illusion that viewers want Henman to win it!
Apart from Boris Becker being the most boring commentator in the world ever (but now so boring, it's funny!) my main gripe is changing the score graphic which now has NAME SETS WON GAMES WON POINT WON, rather than the score in each set.
It's confusing mainly as it's new - but also it doesn't show the full story of the game. A 6-0 6-0 two set lead is very different to a 7-6 7-6 lead, but not illustrated in the graphic.
The only other gripe is the criminal underusage of John Inverdale on BBC TV!
