Why is there never comedy on a Tuesday? On every other day of the week you will get comedy! But never on a Tuesday to this day, I have never seen comedy on any of the 5 main channel!
That’s not my point, I don't wont it on, I just wont to know why it usually isn't now
You are so like my friend who can't say WANT and says WONT. If you want to know, ask the companies yourself. You had the courage and stupidity to call Nickelodeon to complain about their "Coming Soon" idents because they made no sense.

I through there might be some historic reason for this!
Like BBC2, channel4, usually have Documentary on Tuesday & Thursdays and BBC1 Panorama specials are always Wednesdays

That because today's demented british public prefer soaps, dramas and reailty shows.
Now, Now. I'd have perferred "backward" and "issue obsessed" and even possibly "celebrity obsessed" but "demented" Never?
The title of this thread however would suggest some idea of "demented" although I have neither the time nor effort to worry of the scheduling of comedy on a tuesday night.
The words Common and Sense are clearly missing from this equation.
Reality TV is dying out now anyway...so somebody said/I read the other day.
Oh yes....Five TV..
I read that too - back in 2001!
I don't know why he's singled out Tuesday - apart from Fridays, there is nothing but the odd programme on - though BBC2 have now finally reinstated it's Monday night comedy slot!
Also notice in C4's 2006 season they are putting alot of emphasis on the Friday night schedule again. And even sooner, the brilliant Peep Show is back next week at 10pm!

Yes..Peep Show is criminally under-rated though. (CH4 have apparently ordered scripts for a movie version!) 'The IT Crowd' sounds promising too. I Can't believe they're bringing back 'The Friday Night Project' though - that was dire, although the next series will be Jimmy Carr-less - He's being replaced by Justin Lee Collins.
