Just going into a break from Hogan Knows Best at about 3.15pm which had a trailer for Totally Jodie Marsh. I wasn't bothering paying attention until I heard "..some f*cking w*nker" "so what if he's a w*nker?"
It's like these sort of things, broadcasters are sort of ignoring the watershed on some programmes.
"Sort of ignoring the watershed" in this case of the F-word and other expletives - broadcast at 3 in the afternoon, not even close to 9pm - cannot be excused.
Putting it in the same basket as the example from
Titanic
is a tad ridiculous considering that in terms of the offending material, it's not even dealing with the same subject matter (and I would hazard a guess one is more likely to cause offence than the other) so the two cannot really be treated the same.
The only people who get worked up about such words are braindead tossers who don't deserve oxygen and should be rounded up and beaten to death with spades.
The only people who get worked up about such words are braindead t****rs who don't deserve oxygen and should be rounded up and beaten to death with spades.
And that includes whoever set up the **** swear filter.

In that case I must be a braindead tosser! The watershed is there for a very good reason, and those who do find such language offensive should not expect to hear it on television before it, let alone in the middle of the afternoon.

Would that include the parents whose child / children are watching the channel at the way-past-bedtime hour that is 15:00?
Suppose you're right, though. They deserve everything they get for allowing youngsters to watch TMF - in no way is it aimed at anyone under 18, after all.
Personally I can't see why TV cannot allow a bit of bad language, a bit of sex or violence, or what ever is equivelent to the 12 rating set by the BBFC to be shown in the daytime? I don't see anything wrong with it on channels that kids don't watch much of.
