which channel do you watch most?

anyone have a good word about them?

I will watch any channel that is providing some decent, entertaining and original programming.

ITV really did well with Happy Together, tonight. A hark back to the days of Second Thoughts and Faith in the Future - two excellent and truely funny productions pre-ITV consolidation.

BBC did well over Christmas, programmes like The Lost World and the new Only Fools and Horses were really well put together - and original!

Channel 4 tends to produce a lot more original stuff than the others, although BBC, with some of its nature programming, is really doing well at the moment.

I am sick of recycled dross lining the schedules of channels. Another episode of You've Been Framed, Blind Date or Who Wants to be a sodding Millionaire is enough to drive me to suicide. Is it really any wonder ITV1 is losing the ratings war? Although equally the BBC does produce some awful rubbish that goes out in prime time, it balances it out with original drama, comedy and factual programmes. ITV has a decent new production every few years, they discover people like it and do it to the death and then move on to another 'starts good ends crap' series.

Just a friendly word of advice - much as I like your running commentary (and I actually do!) it's not advisable due to Asa's bandwidth problems. I'm not getting at you though!

Oh yeah, and I voted for BBC2. Although they nearly lost my vote due to their new idents...

Despite the dodgy idents, I've been watching BBC2 quite a bit more than BBC1 recently. A lot of BBC1's programming has become perhaps a little 'broad' or 'mainstream' for me.

Talking of BBC2, now the regular idents are back in use (I assume) I wonder if they're now going to introduce the extra versions we've been promised.

Channel 5 is certainly better than it was.

BBC One got my vote as it has done well over xmas showing varied comedy and virtually everything else. I also watch a lot of UK Gold (for the comedy progs. that were on BBC 1!)
I don't watch ITV1 as I'm not a soap fan and my local region is Granada so I hardly watch it.
I just hope the BBC don't loose the Globe as their logo as it has a long history!

PS has anyone found a way of getting other ITV 1 regions on the EPG not just in Other Channels?

i think the new bbc1 logo will surprise us all.

i have a feeling they might remove the 'globe' altogether.
