which channel do you watch most?

It has to be BBC 1 for me. ITV doesnt even compare to BBC 1 anymore. ITV used to be my favourite channel (in the good old days), but not any more, appart from Corrie. Its a so called advert channel now addays, meaning they show more adverts than programs! (no smart remarks about that last comment please, im just being sarcy) BTW I watch a lot of UK Gold aswell, great for commedy!

Does S4C stand for anything?

it's the welsh equivalent of channel 4

There's the further confusion with S4C, of whether we watch the analogue or digital versions.

For those not local to the Principality, the terrestrial analogue version is a mix of programmes in Welsh and time-shifted Channel 4 programmes; whilst the digital version is all in Welsh, all the time.

When I first got Sky Digital, although I'm on the English side of the border, I rang and asked for S4C and S4C2 to be added to my package, so I could watch the C4 programmes at more convenient times. It was only when I tuned in that I realised the service was different.

It's nice to help keep up my schoolboy Welsh though, and I find myself watching quite a bit of it.

S4C is based on the analogue version. i accidentally missed it out.

That's about right, Aztec, though it's known to everyone as 'ess pedwar ek', which is the phonetic Welsh way of putting it.

Now that I have my broadband internet connection, I'm hooked on watching BBC World! Such a great channel, shame about the breakfiller!
