I would like to start with the wacky BBC Weatherman, Dan Corbett, who used to present mainly on News 24 ? Where is he now ?

Yeah, I was wondering that too. He was funny.

Yeh that's the guy, where did he go ? He used to put loads of quirky comments in the forecast and make it really worth watching, always signing off with the trademark nod to camera.

Dan Corbett left the BBC to go to America. I don't know whether he is doing weather broadcasts over there but that's where he's gone. Apparently he ended his last BBC broadcast with 'that's the weather, forever'.

Anyone know why Juliet Morris does not read the main news anymore?

I suppose she just fancied a change. I thought she was really good on Breakfast News (back in the 'vitual studio' days) She presented it with Justin Webb. Doesn't she present 'The heaven and Earth show' now with that celebrity chef bloke?

I would like to know what happened to John Tusa, who used to present the BBC One O'Clock News (pre-corporate)? I wish Edward Stourton presented BBC News again - he could do News 24, after Chris Lowe does and he presented BBC News pre-corporate!

If I'm thinking about the right person - John Tusa is the man who was head of, and relaunched BBC World Service. He has since left, and is now managing director of the Barbican Centre!

Ed stourton was really good on the BBC News at one (pre-corporate) i used to watch as this was an excellent program. Anna ford just doesn't have the same effect. She doesn't ever know what to ask reporters.

I've seen Ed Stourton do the odd News 24 bulletin. He didn't seem that comfortable in a rolling news environment. I think some 'focus groups' said he was too posh, even for the Today programme on Radio 4 apparently....

I'm sick of these 'focus groups' Whaat about what the general public want. We like Anna Ford and Ed Stourton.
