Another half hour show they'll pad out to 60 minutes.

She could be quite good on this although no doubt it'll be padded than an hour. The original was pretty fast paced.

I loved the Wheel of Fortune the last time round, so will give this a go. Not quite sure about the Hammond negativity though?

New rules include an opening judges round where they observe potential contestants spinning the wheel and praise/criticise their efforts, only sending a few into the game itself. Then an interview after every round asking them how it feels to spin the wheel and what emotional life story they have to help viewers want them to succeed.

Looking at Wikipedia, it seems that the American version did have 60 minutes versions when it first started and the upcoming Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is an hour so I imagine they'll use that as the template for the pilot.

I imagine they’ll balance her out with a jobbing comedian.

Jenny Powell teasing an announcement on her Twitter page. Perhaps she’s returning to spin the letter board?

Bradley Walsh did it after Nicky Campbell. Then John Leslie and Paul Hendy when it went to daytime.
It was a good game, but no doubt they will try to pad it out longer than it needs to be, a la Family Fortunes with the chef.

I always found Bradley too frenetic on Wheel back in the day.

Do they even need a letter spinner nowadays? Isn't it all electronic now?
