What's with ITV and it's idents

I have recently come to notice that ITV1 is starting to show the Water Ident alot more often.

Maybe ITV will not get a new look afterall.

How on earth did you come to that conclusion?!

Just conicidence to be honest. Channel 4 started using certian ones of the boxstriped era more often near the end of it's life (especially the forest one) so it is really no indication at all, infact it may be used more often because they are changing it.

But why then is the Bubble one shown more often. I like it but I prefer the Clouds to be the last ones to show.

It is just like Channel 4 Currently. How come they never show the New York or Alien idents anymore.

Just as likely to be the total opposite of your conclusion; if some of the other idents have been retired and not replaced, this would be a sign that they are indeed going to be changed.

Having said that I agree that it's probably just coincidence. Perhaps it's happening because you're looking out for changes more and just noticed that these other idents aren't being used? Has to be said that there is very little between them in any case.
