Well, ITV clealry don't know the difference, as before Corrie they've listed The Bill as being on at 8, when it's actually Heartbeat. Yes, both shows are about the police, but they're hardly similar are they? One's in Rural Yorkshire perpetually trapped in the 1960s for the last 13 years, the other's set in London in 2005.

Surely a decade is only 10 years? In that case, can we expect the cast of Heartbeat to have progressed into the 1970's and start driving around in Ford Capri's and listening to Queen? Rolling Eyes

Everytime I think of the 1960's, it fills me with a deep unease. Even though I was born 13 years after the the decade ended, I just have a horrible mental picture of it. It seemed to be a very sinister and black decade: Myra Hindley murdering children, The Aberfan Disaster, Presidential assasinations, bad hairstyles, women who didn't know what waxing their bikini line was etc. *shudder*, all very disturbing! Shocked

I saw that, it happened on ITV Wales too. Obviously they put up the wrong slide as it was meant for Wednesday when the Bill directly follows Corrie.

Did the network get an announcement before Corrie tonight? On ITV Wales we got nothing. Shame they wont shut up over the closing credits though Rolling Eyes
